Community Solar Generation in Our City

The City of Calgary is hosting its 5th annual Calgary Climate Symposium to continue the conversation about climate change, share how it affects Calgarians, what we can do together, and why we need to talk about it. From October 23 to 27, 2023, connect with community leaders, entrepreneurs, prominent climate experts, and City staff for a series of unique (and free!) virtual learning opportunities. BVGEC will be taking part in the Symposium, joining the City of Calgary and Solar Alberta on Friday, October 27th, for a discussion on local solar potential and community-owned renewable energy generation projects.

The Community Solar Generation in Our City presentation will focus on community renewable energy generation projects, grid-tied solar projects on homes and businesses, and how solar installations typically work in Alberta.
