Bow Valley Green Energy Cooperative was proud to sponsor the third annual 2025 Green Buildings Open House, hosted by the Biosphere Institute of the Bow Valley.

This annual event showcases homes and businesses leading the way in sustainable building design, construction, and day-to-day practices. Featured sites highlight innovations in renewable energy, energy and water efficiency, sustainable technologies, climate adaptation, and more.

This year’s event welcomed over 150 visitors to seven inspiring locations. Each site offered a unique glimpse into what’s possible when we build for a sustainable future, sparking conversations, sharing solutions, and demonstrating real steps toward a lower-carbon Bow Valley.
