Installation is underway at our fourth Community Solar site - Temple B’nai Tikvah!

We are thrilled to share with you that on October 31, 2023, BVGEC, in partnership with the Biosphere Institute of the Bow Valley, The Jewish Climate Leadership Coalition, and the Alberta Ecotrust Foundation, began installing our fourth community-funded solar installation at the Temple B’nai Tikvah in Calgary!
Once completed, this 26 kW installation is expected to generate 30,000 kW hours of renewable electricity annually and offset 20 tons of carbon dioxide from Alberta’s energy grid annually!
Skyfire Energy is managing the project construction, and they will also be installing a live-generation tracker inside the Temple!
