At Bow Valley Green Energy Cooperative (BVGEC), we know that the transition to a cleaner, more resilient energy future is built through collaboration. That’s why we are excited to partner with Calgary Climate Hub and Arusha to co-host Third Thursday Climate Social Drinks -a monthly opportunity for Calgary’s climate, sustainability, and community energy networks to come together.
Held at Civic Tavern on the third Thursday of each month, these informal gatherings bring together a diverse group of people: renewable energy champions, environmental organizations, community builders, policymakers, entrepreneurs, students, and curious Calgarians who want to be part of local climate solutions.
Whether you want to learn more about community-owned renewable energy, discover local initiatives, share your own project, or simply connect with people who care about building a better future, this is a welcoming space to start a conversation.
BVGEC believes meaningful change happens when people connect, exchange ideas, and turn shared values into action. Together with our partners at Calgary Climate Hub and Arusha, we are helping strengthen Calgary’s ecosystem of organizations and individuals working toward a sustainable, low-carbon future.
