Help grow community-owned renewable energy in the Bow Valley!

Rocky Mountain Community Energy (RMCE) is looking for a passionate and community-minded Marketing Specialist to help raise awareness of local renewable electricity options and strengthen connections with residents, organizations, and businesses across the Bow Valley.

What You’ll Do

  • Promote RMCE through community outreach with local organizations and at events.

  • Support the growth of the RMCE Solar Club by connecting with rooftop solar owners.

  • Maintain RMCE’s social media presence (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and TikTok).

  • Deliver simple educational presentations on electricity choices, pricing, and the benefits of community energy.

  • Help engage RMCE customers, encourage retention, and share opportunities to become members or investors in Bow Valley Green Energy Cooperative (BVGEC).

  • Coordinate with UtilityNet’s promotional team to ensure clear and consistent messaging.

What You Bring

  • An engaging, outgoing personality and a passion for community action.

  • Strong communication and social media skills.

  • Interest in learning about Alberta’s electricity market and energy pricing.

  • Basic Excel skills and the ability to handle customer information confidentially.

  • Enthusiasm for sharing what makes RMCE a unique, community-focused alternative to traditional utility providers.
