Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Bow Valley Green Energy Co-op. BVGEC relies on volunteers to support its renewable energy projects, committees, communications and community initiatives.
Volunteer roles are matched based on BVGEC’s current priorities and each applicant’s interests, experience and availability. Some assignments are short-term or project-based, while others involve an ongoing commitment of approximately five to eight hours per month.

1. BVGEC reviews your application
The team will consider your interests, skills and availability alongside its current projects and volunteer needs. Please allow up to 10 business days for this initial review.
2. BVGEC contacts you
If there is a potential fit, BVGEC will contact you to discuss the assignment, expected commitment and next steps.
3. You receive support to get started
Volunteers are paired with a BVGEC board member who provides direction, training and ongoing support.
There may not be a suitable assignment available immediately. BVGEC can retain your application for consideration as new projects and needs arise.
